Region 6
Welcome from Region 6
The Southern Tier Administrators Association (STSAA)
Region 6 is located in the heart of the Finger Lakes district extending north-east to Oneonta. Currently we have 15 affiliated units within our ever-expanding geographic location that encompasses 8 counties proudly representing over 150 administrators from Upstate New York. While the geographic scenery may be different, the political landscape remains very much the same for us as with our other units across the state. The Region 6 administrators have been working through all of the issues which difficult budgets present. It is important to remember during these difficult times that responsive leadership can help guide us through this uncharted territory. It is my hope that we will one day be able to sit at the table with you and discuss possibly representing your interests and needs while working together. I can assure you that we will provide outstanding leadership for the schools and districts across this great state.
I, along with the ESSA Executive Committee and our knowledgeable attorneys, are ready to work for you and support your initiatives in any appropriate manner. I look forward to meeting you directly.
